J and M Rentals owns four duplex apartments on Union Hill Road, located 5 miles south of Carbondale, and about 5-10 minutes from SIU. These apartments are owned by Patty and Richard Smith. They were built in 1995.

The Union Hill apartments feature:

    • Terms of the Lease:

    We ask for tenants to sign a one year lease.
    We ask for one month's rent as a security deposit to hold the apartment. The first month's rent is then due the day the tenant takes posession of the apartment.
    The last month's rent is then due within ninety days from the day the tenant takes posession of the apartment.

    The Duplex Apartments are currently renting for $600 a month.

    map iconUnion Hill Road is located south of Carbondale off of Cedar Creek Road.
    Follow U.S. 51 south out of Carbondale for approximately 2.5 miles, till you reach the intersection of Old Highway 51. Turn right on to Old Highway 51, and drive for another half mile until you see Cedar Creek road on your right. Cedar Creek is the second asphalt road on the right past the intersection of Old and New 51. Take Cedar Creek for approximately one and 1/2 miles to Union Hill Road, which is on the right. Take Union Hill a 1/2 mile, the duplex apartments are on 4th drive on the left. They are white duplexes (one story), not townhouses (two story), with red brick trim, and dark red doors.
